Turning tools for internal machining (boring)
Hollfelder offers a range of turning tools which are categorized into:
- Boring bars
- Mini Boring bars
- Cartridges Systems
Hollfelder’s range of boring bars is designed in such a way that every diameter can be machined, starting at only 4.0 mm. Different inserts (with a variety of approach angles) as well as boring bars (e.g. steel or carbide) can be selected from a our standard range.
All inserts are precision ground with a chip-breaker to support excellent chipflow and at the same time reduce the cutting force. This results in achieving a better surface finish as well as an increase in tool life.
